Friends and the North Central Education Foundation
Friends of the Lower Grand Coulee (FLGC) partners with the North Central Educational Foundation (NCEF) to provide classroom grants to local area school districts providing funding for small, impactful educational programs that will further the knowledge, appreciation and enjoyment of the geology, culture, history and natural beauty of the Lower Grand Coulee. This teacher classroom grant is awarded for projects or activities that occur inside, or outside the classroom in subject matter areas of social studies, literacy, music and arts, STEM and STEAM. Our intent is to help teachers tap into their own creativity, and provide them with that extra bit of funding that might not otherwise be available. |
