our mission
Friends of the Lower Grand Coulee (FLGC) develops and funds initiatives that further the knowledge and appreciation of the Lower Grand Coulee's extraordinary geology, history and creative assets.
Our Vision
FLGC envisions a community working together to inspire curiosity, discovery, and pride in the Lower Grand Coulee for current and future generations. FLGC partners with other organizations to promote creativity, build connections and support learning by funding art and education programs. Visit our Programs page to learn more.
Our current flagship project is the transformation of the historic James Building. Our vision is to create an Arts and Science Discovery Center, a publicly available space where all can share the Lower Grand Coulee experience through arts and science education, exhibits and presentations.
